Abstract:

Der Artikel präsentiert ein landeskundliches Workshop-Modell für internationale DaF-Lehrende, das im Herbst 2022 am Goethe Institut Tiflis erstmals durchgeführt wurde. Auf der Basis vorher ermittelter kulturbezogener Bedarfe der teilnehmenden DaF-Lehrkräfte zielt der Workshop darauf, thematische, methodisch-didaktische und theoretische Entwicklungen und Neuperspektivierungen auf dem Feld landeskundlichen Lernens in anwendungsorientierter Form aufzubereiten und zu vermitteln. Im Zentrum stehen dabei primär die Analyse ausgewählter Lehrwerkübungen sowie die Entwicklung sowohl thematisch als auch methodisch zeitgemäßer kulturbezogener Lehr- und Lernmaterialien, wobei in inhaltlicher Perspektive insbesondere Aspekte der Gender-, Klima- und Migrationsdebatte fokussiert werden. Dass in den Kontexten internationaler DaF-Kulturvermittlung eminenter Bedarf nach einem Update bisheriger Landeskundedidaktik und Landeskundematerialien besteht, wurde im Rahmen des Tifliser Workshops deutlich.

The article presents a cultural studies-workshop model for international GFL teachers, which was conducted for the first time at the Goethe-Institut Tbilisi in fall 2022. Based on previously identified culture-related needs of the participating GFL teachers, the workshop aims to prepare and convey thematic, methodological-didactic and theoretical developments and new perspectives in the field of cultural learning in an application-oriented form. The focus is primarily on the analysis of selected textbook exercises and the development of both thematically and methodologically contemporary culture-related teaching and learning materials, with a particular focus on aspects of the gender, climate and migration debates. During the Tbilisi workshop, it became clear that there is an eminent need for an update of existing cultural studies didactics and materials in the context of international GFL cultural education.
