Abstract: | This monograph documents the projects from the master studio in urban design 2023 "Western harbour - concepts for an adaptable neighbourhood in Bristol". The projects discuss the importance of adaptable urban design structures and strategies to respond, integrate and stimulate change as a potential for a sustainable urban development. The path of learning, exploring and discovering in each of those projects reflects the explorative design approach as a key teaching element at the urban design and planning unit. |
