Abstract: | Metal perovskite oxynitrides are a highly interesting class of materials due to their tunable physical and chemical properties by varying the cationic and anionic stoichiometry. In this thesis, the formability of novel perovskite oxynitrides, synthesis and functionalities of metal oxynitrides have been investigated concerning their solid state structure, processing, microstructure, structure evolution and thermodynamic stability. |
