Abstract: | Immunotherapy represents a promising tool significantly improving cancer outcomes. The concept of tumor recognition and elimination by harnessing the patients' immune system has recently been applied to cells of the innate immunity. Particularly, antibody-based NK cell engagers have been explored which specifically target tumor-associated antigens and simultaneously receptors on natural killer cells boosting the immune effector cells' cytolytic effect and further inducing a multicellular immune response. |
