| Abstract: | This report is the final joint product of the student research project “Solidarity in Europe” which was conducted the Institute of Political Science at Technische Universität Darmstadt from April 2023 to March 2024. It explores attitudes towards solidarity in Europe expressed in four large German newspapers within the first year of the fiscal crisis of 2009. The report is based on empirical analysis of more than 600 newspaper articles which were assessed using qualitative content analysis. |
