#MULHERESNOFUTEBOL: TRANSITIVIDADE E AVALIATIVIDADE NA IDENTIFICAÇÃO DE PADRÕES SEXISTAS

Este trabalho tem como objetivo identificar processos avaliativos de julgamento em um corpus composto por 545 postagens no Twitter que contêm a hashtag #MulheresNoFutebol. Para realizar essa análise, partimos do referencial teórico da Linguística Sistêmico-Funcional, focando nos Sistemas de Avaliatividade (MARTIN; WHITE, 2005) e Transitividade (HALLIDAY; MATHIESSEN, 2014) e também considerando o funcionamento do site de rede social em questão (boyd; ELLISON, 2007). Nossos resultados mostram que que grande parcela dos julgamentos, apoiados por processos verbais e mentais, questiona o conhecimento de mulheres a respeito de regras e outros elementos relacionados ao futebol, refletindo um sistema de representação de linguagem que explicita a estrutura machista presente no esporte.

This work aims to identify judgement evaluative processes in a corpus composed by 545 Twitter posts that contain the hashtag #MulheresNoFutebol. In order to perform this analysis, we rely on the theoretical framework of Systemic-Functional Linguistics, focusing on the Appraisal Theory (MARTIN; WHITE, 2005) as well as Transitivity (HALLIDAY; MATHIESSEN, 2014), and also considering the functioning of the social network site (boyd; ELLISON, 2007) in question. Our results show that a large proportion of the judgements, supported by verbal and mental processes, question women’s knowledge about rules and other elements related to soccer, reflecting a language representation system that explains the sexist structure present in this sport.
