This monograph documents the projects from the 2024 master studio in urban design "London calling - Revisiting Thamesmead". The projects discuss the importance of creatively rethinking and re-imagining existing structures, in order to protect the existing heritage, and at the same time develop a transformative vision, allowing for a more resilient, equitable, inclusive and sustainable urban development. The path of learning, exploring and discovering in each of those projects reflects the exploratory design approach as a key teaching element at the urban design and planning unit.
