Documents necessary for publishing in tuprints

The following documents are necessary for publishing in tuprints (depending on the type of publication - a doctoral dissertation requires some more material than a report.

The following overview should be your guide to prepare the pubcliation process.

• 6 printed copies (acc. to § 20 of the Promotionsordnung), 3 of these for the ULB, 3 for the deanery of your faculty
• The license and printing permission signed by you (the author) and the primary referee bzw. Doktorvater: "Erklärung zur Publikation elektronischer Dokumente" in tuprints
• The electronic version as PDF-file. Please pay attention to our technical requirements.
• Some metadata, describing your thesis. They have to be entered into our online form during the upload process:
  • Title of work in English and German.
  • Abstract of your work in English and German. Please note that only continous text is allowed (no tables, pictures, paragraphs etc.)
  • Name of the doctoral advisor, date of the oral examination

• The license signed by you (the author)and the primary referee or advisor: "Erklärung zur Publikation elektronischer Dokumente" in tuprints
• The electronic version as PDF-file. Please pay attention to our technical requirements.
• Some metadata, describing your work. They have to be entered into our online form during the upload process:
  • Title of your work
  • Abstract of your work. Please note that only continous text is allowed (no tables, pictures, paragraphs etc.)
  • Name of referee or advisor

• The license signed by you (the author)and the primary referee or advisor: "Erklärung zur Publikation elektronischer Dokumente" in tuprints
• (Informal) recommendation by your referee or advisor
• The electronic version as PDF-file. Please pay attention to our technical requirements.
• Some metadata, describing your work. They have to be entered into our online form during the upload process:
  • Title of your work
  • Abstract of your work. Please note that only continous text is allowed (no tables, pictures, paragraphs etc.)
  • Name of referee or advisor
