Abstract:

Conjugatet polymers are important semiconducting materials. The synthesis of conjugatet Polyarylenvinylenes through ADMET-Polymerisation was considerable improved. This was done with the three model monomers 1,4-Di(2-ethylhexyl)-2,5-divinylbenzol, 1,4-Di(2-ethylhexyloxy)-2,5-divinylbenzol und 9,9-Di(2-ethylhexyl)-2,7-divinylfluoren. The synthesised Polymers have an all-trans-configuration and are free of defects. The optimised ADMET-Polymerisation procedure was used for the synthesis of a Ferrocen-Fluorenylvinylen-Copolymer. The fluorescence of the Copolymer was considerable quenched through the presence of the ferrocene.
