Abstract:

Alternative AbstractLanguage

In addition to the role of RITA in the regulation of the export of the transcription factor RBPJ, which plays a role in the Notch signaling pathway (Wacker et al., 2011), the function of RITA on the microtubules is completely unknown. Also, the regulation during the cell cycle in cancer cells has not been investigated so far. By localization at the microtubules, RITA can act as a potential MAP. Therefore, a detailed study of the physiological function of RITA and its molecular regulation in mitosis in the context of MT dynamics, which plays a central role in mitosis, is important in cancer cells.
