Abstract:

This work is focused on the versatile application of chicken-derived antibodies isolated via yeast surface display (YSD) and fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS). Chicken-derived monoclonal antibodies and antibody fusion proteins were generated and implemented in the fields of paper-based low-cost diagnostics, affinity chromatography-based protein purification and novel antibody formats for cancer treatment.

Diese Arbeit bezieht sich auf die vielseitige Anwendbarkeit von Hühner-Antikörpern, welche mittels Hefe-Oberflächen Präsentation (YSD) und Fluoreszenz-aktiviertem Zell-Sortierens (FACS) isoliert werden können. Monoklonale Antikörper und Antikörper Fragmente aus Hühnern konnten erfolgreich generiert und in den Bereichen der kostengünstigen Diagnostik und der Affinitäts-chromatographischen Protein-Reinigung angewendet werden, sowie zu der Entwicklung eines neuen Antikörperformates beitragen.
